She stayed up till 3am last night talking to family in Asia, and then proceeded to wake up at noon today. I think she'll be fine staying up tonight.

It went great! Momma smithers is happy with her new macbook (her old one is ten years old now). And the wife has a brand new Nespresso machine.

Just some bumps and bruises, fortunately nothing serious.

I feel like I might have to start putting down sand/salt on the stairs and walkway.

As did I on the total ice on my driveway that I could not really see. I had to crawl across it to get to the snow to walk on it to get my accumulated mail and newspapers.

Last February I had a violent fall on the ice which resulted in a broken wrist. This one was nothing in comparison. No pain.

Ice report from here: it's a bit chillier today, but it was around 80 degrees yesterday. I didn't observe any ice.
