I've just started participating in these surveys asked via text where I get paid $0.10 per question answered. Goes to my PayPal account. I'd get double the amount if I installed the app on my phone and answered via it. But my phone is reserved for only what I cannot do anywhere else.

Does a DAF count as a charitable organization?

When I answered the question, I thought about it and thought it would not.

It's a tax vehicle that allows you to take the charitable donation today on your tax return, allowing you to defer when the charitable organization receives the actual donation.

Therefore, I'd consider the charitable donation as being made when you instruct the Donor Advised Fund to distribute it to a charitable organization.

But an equal argument can be made the other way.

I filled out a very long survey in paper a few years ago and got maybe $100 for it. Never again, though. too many questions.

Not according to my friends in Alberta. They don't want to go. They have the oddball here and there with Trump signs. Don't mistake their hatred of Trudeau for something it isn't. Trudeau was anti oil & gas, that's their bread and butter.

r/Canada defines itself as non-American. socialized medicine, restricted rights to self-defense. Every day during the two weeks years of curfews they bragged about not having constitutional freedoms of religion or assembly. "Community first" collectivist/communist/socialist however you want to define it. Trump's a mobster and not an intellectual, but he's his own man (in appearance) and thats a threat to collectivist narratives. Same reason they hate Djokovic, and dont mind that Biden and Kamala are mentally castrated. The Longhouse.
