So much for dogs and cats. They are so very ordinary. This group definitely deserves better.

I'd love to have pets like this except that they seem to be way more maintenance than cats (and even dogs).

Glad to hear it!
I didn’t think you were in Chicago, since you said you wouldn’t set foot in the city these days. But, guess you’re close.

Hahaha. I've been watching this whole debt ceiling debate farce and it's the same lalapalooza every few years. I did notice that the supply of gold in my town has started to dry up in the past month or so. Only the major dealers that order directly from the Mint seem to have supply. That along with the inflation and I think the macro environment is encouraging people to buy more gold.Mountaineer wrote: ↑Mon May 22, 2023 4:06 amSome apparently Biden their time and hiding in their basement.
As someone in my early thirties I've been in the investing game just long enough now to start seeing that nothing in the investing world repeats but it always seems to rhyme.

Thank you. I hope all my gyroscopic friends have a great weekend too.

It's a music festival weekend for me.
Tonight was ended by nearly three hours by "The Machine". A band that does all Pink Floyd extremely well.

There will be lots of festivals this summer in Edmonton. I will be taking the girlfriend to go see some for sure! Lots of night markets on the street selling trinkets as well. I will be there with a cold soda in hand.
Vinny, come visit Canada some time!
Re: Daily "Check In" Thread For Us
Thanks for the offer. But I have 12 animals who expect me to feed them every morning. On top of that the three cats demand that their food dish never is empty, waking me up while I am sleeping if I dare let it go empty!

You can get a sitter. Just hide the jars first.

They'd also have to take on watering the 200+ vegetable garden plants for 45 minutes each morning.
