Just as the title says.
It looks like Kali Linux - the distro of choice for pentesting, offensive security, etc. - needs workarounds or doesn't work at all with Apple silicon Macs. A lot of legacy programming tools and binaries apparently don't work.
Given the x86 and Apple silicon divide, what laptop would you guys use for IT admin, cybersecurity type stuff? (Not programming/coding per se.)

I was set on the Apple silicon mac until I discovered how much stuff was still incompatible with their processor architecture.
