Ukrainian Immigrant Interviews Jimmy Dore
Michael Malice is a great podcaster, open minded and always has great questions. Here he interviews Jimmy Dore:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EUNYOJASD1w
They cover Tulsi Gabbard and how she exposed the false story that the Syrian government had gassed its own people, lies by the media/government about Covid and Ukraine, comedians being cheered for anti-intellectual mocking of people who want to learn, and many other interesting topics.

Just put it on and may later make comments.

Both the Ukrainian immigrant and Jimmy Dore totally subscribed to this belief and, of course, think all the rest of all are brainwashed by the media conspiracy to get us to not know such things.

I'll leave it as I can see why you liked the above.
However, after it was over YouTube sent me to a Lex Fridman podcast with him interviewing Michael Malice. Malice came across much better during that interview than his podcast above which you sent us to. However, he is no match with Lex when he tried to challenge Lex intellectually.

Re: Ukrainian Immigrant Interviews Jimmy Dore
So, you guys think that the Syrian leader would gas his own people when he had no actual reason to, and gassing people or nuking people, which of course he doesn't have the capability of doing, are pretty much the only things he could do which would give the US a "good" reason to get involved in his conflict? It doesn't seem very likely to me, but hey I wasn't there. I just try to use a little common sense to judge which side has a better handle on the truth.
Re: Ukrainian Immigrant Interviews Jimmy Dore
And you guys probably don't think that the CIA lied to get us into the Iraq war after 9/11 also, right? And they didn't lie to get us into several other wars down through the ages, right?
Somehow, people are willing to believe that lies happened 20 or 30 or more years ago, but right now at this moment they magically aren't happening.

Obama's predecessor made the worst foreign policy decision in the history of the country in deciding to go to war with Iraq. He was "The Decider". He was the one to evaluate any information that was being provided to him by anyone.

And somehow, people have a difficult time distinguishing Fantasy Island from reality. Maybe Jack Nicholson was right, some people can't handle the truth.
Also, whataboutism is no longer an effective trolling technique. Fish aren't bitein anymore.

It would be a fantasy to think the CIA etc. has never lied in such matters. Is that what you think?Kbg wrote: ↑Wed Dec 14, 2022 5:34 pmAnd somehow, people have a difficult time distinguishing Fantasy Island from reality. Today Lex came out with a Christmas Special with Michael Malice.
Most of it was going over Malice's new book that came out yesterday.
Malice came across quite well in this discussion.
What you have above was my first exposure to him and he did not come off so well, especially in comparison to the discussion with Lex.
The only thing I can think is that Jimmy Dore was such as bad interviewee that he dragged Malice down to his level while Lex is such a superb interviewer that he brings out the absolute best in his guests.

Re: Ukrainian Immigrant Interviews Jimmy Dore
I think a lot of people think that government agencies lying to the rest of the American people is a good thing. It's like parents telling kids there's a Santa Claus or maybe that there's a Boogeyman that will get them at night.I Shrugged wrote: ↑Thu Dec 15, 2022 6:50 pmIt would be a fantasy to think the CIA etc. has never lied in such matters. I grew up way out in the country surrounded by miles of cornfields. My parents told me and my sister there was a corn monster who would eat little kids that got lost in the cornfields. It kept us from going deep in them and maybe getting lost and night falling. A kid could end up miles from home if they got lost and just started walking.
I think it's like that. Some people want government officials telling us stories about corn monsters because they think it's for our own good. Ohh and they want us to pay these people to tell us the stories.
Or maybe they believe everything the government says because if they admitted the government officials lie to them it would devastate their worldview.
***Edit - the lying includes our state run media which is basically all major news networks and newspapers. They have CIA liaisons, get half their "stories" from government officials or CIA talking points, review their daily talking points and even specific language with the alphabet agencies etc. They are heavily "regulated" to the point they are just government mouthpieces masquerading as a free press. I've seen people here talking about the free press in America. LOL that's quaint. Look how upset they all are that there's even the tiniest shred of media not totally government controlled now (Twitter). This is the government complaining through their media mouthpieces.
Re: Ukrainian Immigrant Interviews Jimmy Dore
Excellent analogy about the corn monsters. We're all steeped in our own society from birth -- of course we think that our system is best. But not just best, but also that it is "good" in a moral sense. So then having to tell a few lies in order to further the system is not such a bad thing, because the ends justify the means. If the lies are told to further Nazism, then they are bad lies, but if the lies are told to further democracy, then they aren't so bad. Too bad we couldn't have a system where we didn't need lies, where there weren't any greedy bastards willing to blow up babies and old women in far off countries just so they can have a cushy life here in the USA, but I guess human nature doesn't allow for that.
