Pugs may not be the smartest breed, but they are the most adorable.
I like this pug, the one on the other thread...ditch that guy.
This must be an example of the civility you were requesting.
LOL!
I think posts like this are helpful...I'm pretty sure at the end of the day pug and kbg are just two people trying to do the best they can in life and have a common interest in this board including elbows thrown and received and whatnot.

And, you two share a ‘g’. You are 1/3 of the way towards full brotherhood. :-)

As an "Exhibit A" of how beloved dogs are ..... I put the below on my Facebook page last night. A picture of me and a dog with the following:
"A contractor came by my house yesterday. I saw his dog in the back seat of his truck so, of course, I had to ask if I could say hello to it. For the entire 20 minutes or so he was at my house - outside, in the basement, various other parts of the house --- this was me and the dog! The heart-warming part of the story was that he told me he got the dog just a week or two ago in Hartford and that if he'd not taken it the shelter was going to kill it. Now it has a home living with a 75 pound labradoodle along with its human owner."
About 15 hours later it already has 110 likes (and counting). I don't think anything I've prior put on Facebook with me in the picture ever attracted anywhere near that many likes. Obviously, it's the dog - Piper!

I hadn't realized the person on the shirt in your avatar was meant to be you, Vinny. I thought it was a wizard or something.
That’s Vinny?! I’m used to the clean-shaven photo. Swinging a bat with a Sharks softball team shirt or something.

The shirt is from a picture of me keeping score of one of our softball games on an iPad.

That's is now me. Prior to March 2020 the beard was always trimmed to about a three day growth length. Since then it has been untouched. And, no other hair on my body has been touched since my last haircut in January 2020. Once we were all home as of March 2020 I decided to just let's see what happens. Since then it all keeps happening.
Though I am definitely not a person of distinction I am definitely someone with a distinctive look. Easily recognizable in person.
Two weeks ago I was at a folk music festival and I thought I'd ended up near a former coworker but was not sure since I'd not seen her since March 2020. I did go up to her and say, "Rebecca?". She said, "Yes, who are you?" I said, "You don't recognize my voice?" She said, "Vinny??!!!" And, of course, she had to then document me by taking pictures. A lot of people who have not seen me since prior to March 2020 do not recognize me. But those that have seen me post then have a quite easy time picking me out of a crowd.

Vinny, is that you on twitter with the abbreviated eyebrows and 427K tweets on Twitter?
Yes. With the "Yankee Italian" shirt on next to a young black guy. That was my basketball picture from about five years ago. The smaller softball picture is from about four years ago. I will be replacing that picture with one from this year.

Here is the full story of the shirt.
Someone took that picture of me. One of our players is a manager at a business which makes our team shirts. For humor he made a mockup shirt with that picture. Two sisters on the team immediately said they wanted one. Next game here we are:
