I am very glad and grateful to have found this forum, and other Permanent Portfolio materials. Many thanks to Craig and MT!
Now, the only things that disturb my sleep at night are my aging and beloved Labrador, Buddy, who more often these days has to go pee in the night, and me, an aging Boomer, who also has to pee in the night; the vagrancy of the market does not disturb my sleep, just a couple of bladders.
Happy Winter Soltice, and New Year!

Happy Holidays to all!
I'm really glad there is now a forum populated with thoughtful people who appreciate HB and his ideas. If still living, I think he would greatly appreciate the tone and respectful treatment given everyone's opinions.
I learned an enormous amount about investing and economics from his books during the 1970s. There were many times in the 1980s & 1990s when I wondered whether anyone besides me was reading his books and newsletter. His ideas and philosophy made so much sense, but were just ignored -- I guess because they seemed so simplistic and out of sync with mainstream beliefs.
Particular thanks to MT and CraigR for all your efforts.
