A Happy and Peaceful New Year

Post by lazyboy »

Inside of me there are two dogs. One is mean and evil and the other is good and they fight each other all the time. When asked which one wins I answer, the one I feed the most.

That's a relaxing video (so far anyway).

As a suggestion to all posters, if you are going to post a link, please provide a sentence or two describing what the link is and why you are posting it here.  I find that it's much easier to sift through links that may be interesting to someone if he/she has an idea what it is.

I also find it very helpful when I know the length of a video that is being linked to.  If a video is 45 minutes and I only have 5, I'm not even going to click on it.  OTOH, if a clip is 30 seconds long I am a lot more likely to check that out.

In this case, thanks for posting the link to this relaxing and beautiful video.  I would describe it as a 7 minute video with beautiful scenes, relaxing music and narration about calming the mind and finding peace.
Q: “Do you have funny shaped balloons?”
A: “Not unless round is funny.”

MT- Thanks for the kind and gently correction, also, your description is true and fair. I should have introduced and described the video, myself. It was meant to be a pleasant surprise. I was just passing along a New Years sentiment to everyone that had been sent to me. The speaker on the video is Thich Nhat Hanh, a Vietnamese Buddhist monk, teacher and poet who lives in France and teaches worldwide. More about him here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thich_Nhat_Hanh
