I'm not an economist but, at least in the short term, I don't see unemployment shooting up. People I talk to who run businesses still can't get enough workers, at least not good ones.

I never heard of Steph Pomboy but generally economists only have social media followers if they have extreme opinions. Jim Rickards, for example, has been doomer porning about stuff for at least a couple of decades that has not yet come true.
