For what it's worth, I believe the majority of the "growth of the top 1%" share of income/wealth is the growth of the top .1%.

If we are currently making $33,000 per year; try to increase cash flow so it can become $66,000 or $99,000 which can take us to the top 25% or top 10%.

Do you think the top 0.1% Americans make more than $1 million per year?

They certainly do, at least for households (probably for individuals as well):moda0306 wrote:I would guess so.Odysseusa wrote:Do you think the top 0.1% Americans make more than $1 million per year?moda0306 wrote: For what it's worth, I believe the majority of the "growth of the top 1%" share of income/wealth is the growth of the top .1%.
That was in 2005, so the corresponding 2011 incomes are probably even higher. As of 2005, there were approximately 146,000 (0.1%) households with incomes exceeding $1,500,000, while the top 0.01% or 11,000 households had incomes exceeding $5,500,000. The 400 highest tax payers in the nation had gross annual household incomes exceeding $87,000,000.
