I believe it made landfall as a tropical storm and is now just a depression. We don't even fret those down here in Florida.
Having said that we did once loser power for a week when a tropical storm stalled off the coast for what seemed like forever. This one seems to be moving at a pretty good pace which, as an experienced hurricane watcher, is always a good thing. Seems like the longer they stick around, the more damage they can do.

With a hurricane hitting the north east, let's check in with our members from the area:
Vinny in rural Mass, how are things looking?
Mathjak in NYC?
KBG/KayFaybe in Boston area I think?
The North East doesnt get many hurricanes so I'm always afraid they take it harder when they do get hit.
So far...just seems to be a lot of rain here.

Not even close…from that part of the country that is mostly on fire. Hurricane size rain would be most welcome.

Turned out to basically be a non-event here...
