Rebalance to put your stock allocation just enough below your threshold that you can put it off for a while. Your definition of “a while” will determine how far to go.

Just playing around with some backtesting  
 
1 = Long Term Corporates substituted for LTT's. 25% each Gold, Cash & TSM
2 = 35% TSM, 15% Total US Bond Market. 25% each Gold & Cash
3 = HBPP

I tend to (and recently did) put money into ITT when I can't get myself to put money into LTT.
Seems to be least angst.
If in taxable, iBonds?
