Today I went out to buy gas for my lawn mower and buy gas for my car for the first time since December 2020.

I had heard about these gas lines and asked around if they were occurring around me. Got a no for an answer.

Went and all was normal. Price was $2.83 / gallon. I'd driven a grand total of 265 miles in five months! Most of those miles were on one day - April 22, 2021 - when I went on a three state search for Friskie's canned cat food. I'd not been able to find it anywhere - my local stores, Amazon, Walmart, Chewy.com. All out of stocks for the three flavors my three like to eat. I was down to less than two weeks of inventory. I think I ended up buying 400 cans those during that three day cat food shopping spree.

Back to the gas lines. Tonight I was told we'd probably not see them because most of our supply comes from Canada (Thanks, Smith1776!)
