Youtube scammers galore

Is it just my algorithm, or has the number of scammy ads on youtube exploded in the last year? Why do mainstream corporate ads never seem to appear on my videos? Instead it's a barrage of scammy get rich quick schemes or scammy weight loss programs or scammy political ads. Is anyone else noticing this?

Definitely the best aspect of a Chromebook, no ads on youtube.

If I'm doing cardio at the gym I use my smartphone. I haven't noticed anything weird.

As someone who watches a lot of investment videos I get SOOOOOOO many of the scammy trading ads.

Like, seriously, don't insult my intelligence.
