I much preferred the one that I encountered when I first got here and which lasted for a long, long time. The tortoise and the hare. Seemed like the perfect image for a Permanent Portfolio forum. I was disappointed when it was no longer. Also, was semi-shocked to see the Mountaineer's long standing one suddenly change and then seemingly undergo frequent changes. On the other hand, have always enjoyed Smith1776's frequent changes.

This is what I looked like when living in West Virginia, and foraging for that stuff someone mentioned cooking on another thread. The housing though was quite cheap. And my grocery expenses zero. And, above all, my permanent tooth cleaning expenses and toilet paper expenses were also zero. Covid related worry was nill.
