The EXIF data for the image says "Copyright Apple Inc., 2017", and next to that it says "description: Display P3" (no idea what that means).dualstow wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 11:30 amBy the way, I did search for the original image to at least mention the artist's name or source site, but all I found was other people and sites who ripped it off, like I did.dualstow wrote: ↑Thu Aug 13, 2020 6:52 pmI found it after googling "ipad wallpaper" and thought, I have to spread this one around.Mark Leavy wrote: ↑Thu Aug 13, 2020 6:32 pm dualstow, tell us about your current avatar. Re: Isn't there an Avatar Thread?
Mark, did you briefly have an avatar of yourself hiking with a woman — a striking resemblance — or did I dream that?
Edit: I don’t know why I wrote “mom” earlier, except that I was receiving updates from mine on her eye surgery. Scatterbrain, i am.

I did. A little mountain goat that spends her vacation time trying to kill me.
She's retiring next year. We're negotiating.
I met her 25 years ago on a hippy bus tour through Mexico. She was the driver and tour guide - and a commanding presence. As I was pretty much the only other adult in the crowd, we hit it off well. You have to take your time with these things...
Edit: Photo removed to reduce the chances that I am murdered in my sleep.

Thanks, Mountaineer! My previous pandemic-themed avatar was starting to show its age -- much like Biden.Mountaineer wrote: ↑Wed Sep 16, 2020 1:34 pmLove the avatar Tortoise. Just doing my part to get people revved up for the coming slaughter... er, debates.

@dualstow, what’s the English translation of the text in your new avatar?

"Want to take a hike?" (Literally "Climb a mountain together?")
It's just a show that my wife is watching. Very popular now.
It's about evil deeds, not mountain climbing.

Is it too soon to start dropping the election-related avatars so we can start getting back to normal?

A betta fish I just bought for a small aquarium.
Re: Isn't there an Avatar Thread?
Does that mean I should also be getting the Obama / Biden sticker off the back of my car that was there when I bought the car in December 2013?

All the recent avatars are pleasing to the eye.
If it hasn’t been mentioned, Smith’s is a Russian known as “muscle Barbie.”

Re: Isn't there an Avatar Thread?
She’s real?? I thought that photo was shopped. Mind blown.
Re: Isn't there an Avatar Thread?
Indeed! A very unique athlete to be sure. I'd say she's real in a sense that she does actually look like that, but not "real" in a sense that I'm 99.99% sure she's penning steroids.
Either way, clearly a one in a million kind of girl.

Just wait til Smithers finds out about Yuan Herong

You there, Ephialtes. May you live forever.
Re: Isn't there an Avatar Thread?
Fun fact about me. I am strictly attracted to white/caucasian women. And the preference is not slight. Seeing women of other ethnicities is pretty much the same thing as seeing a dude to me. Not sure why. Just the way my brain is built I guess.
*shrug*
Re: Isn't there an Avatar Thread?
Where the white women at?!?!
