Crazy world. What can one say? He’s flaunted nearly every rule regarding what we all need to do, and he could benefit from it.

Wonder what happens if any of the multiple people who have gotten it from this episode don’t fare well. He’ll probably get sympathy, crazy enough.

Logical? Hah.

Techno, my vote for Biden is a lesser of two evils. I can understand us disagreeing on which candidate that strategy should favor but it seems like you actually think Trump is an effective leader. That's what is shocking to me. See, Trump gets the majority of my criticism because he's in charge right now. When and if tables flip and we are still on this forum I think you will see that my criticism of Biden will probably be just as vehement. I'm not sure as a self proclaimed anarchist why you seem to be such a political hack.

Stupid automatic spell check.

I bet there’s at least some Trump supporters out there who haven’t been able to work at their office, or haven’t shaken hands with colleagues, or haven’t kissed their elderly parents because of worry of the virus. And these supporters see the Rose garden ceremony, where people were maskless, kissing, shaking hands, and sitting next to each other, like nothing is happening.

And some of these supporters may turn. Not saying a lot, but it doesn’t take a lot. Whether that means not voting, or switching to Biden, I don’t know.

I will need to ping my mother tomorrow to get her take. They are avid Trump supporters, and have Fox News on 24/7.

I recently have been terribly biased watching the breathless breaking news on CNN

Yes, I'm sure there are plenty of Trump supporters like the ones you describe, but you are misunderstanding the effect this will have on them.

Who has been running around screaming "The sky is falling because of the virus! We must all stay locked in our houses forever!"?
It's not Trump. It's Democrat governors and mayors.

So who are those Trump supporters going to be mad at?
Also not Trump.

I look forward to hearing your mother's take.

Thanks!
I think that's an exaggeration. I think caution has been democratic stance. I think in some cases that has been extended too far. However, I fault Trump for lack of example and lack of leadership. He has done a shit job of pulling together a comprehensive strategy. It's been everyman for himself pretty much.

Thanks be to God that I don't have to do what some elitist dreams up for the program of the day and I'm able to think and do for myself. Three cheers for the Constitution and Bill of Rights, leaders who leap tall buildings in a single bound, are stronger than a railroad locomotive, and are for truth, justice and the American way. ;)
