Covid Strategy if Biden Wins

Post by jalanlong »

I have a significant number of Republicans in my family and almost all of them are of the opinion that if Biden wins the election, then Covid restrictions, shutdowns and media coverage will disappear, almost overnight.

I am actually of the opinion that it could go the opposite way, especially if Europe starts another round of shutdowns in the winter. Biden would be hard pressed to not follow their lead. And given that Democrat voters are listing the virus as their #1 issue for the election, I cannot see how he can avoid national shutdown orders and mask mandates unless he is prepared to go against his party and constituency within a month of being elected.

What are your opinions as to the future of Covid strategy if Biden wins?

What does big business want? They fund both parties and call the shots.

They are selling less stuff. But, they are getting bailouts by the billions....
