Does anyone else find it weird how often Biden refers to (mostly) what his father used to say? This may have been the first time I heard him refer to what his mother said.shekels wrote: ↑Thu Aug 13, 2020 10:35 am Joe Biden said that his vice president needs to be capable of being president because he is so old.
"I can think of at least eight women, at least four or five people of color, that I think are totally qualified to be vice president of the United States," the former vice president, 77, said at a campaign event in Clinton, Iowa on Tuesday.
"But for me, it has to be demonstrated that whoever I pick is two things: One, is capable of [being] president because I'm an old guy," Biden said as some in the crowd laughed. "No, I'm serious. Look, I thank God I'm in great health. I work out. No, I'm serious. You know, I work out every morning. I'm in good shape — knock on wood, as my mother would say."

He's 77. Born in the 1940s. His parents may well have been born around the turn of the last century! Does not he or anyone else on his campaign staff think that younger people are not going to relate to what people born about 120 years old used to say?
One of his biggest liabilities is his age. And, there he goes compounding it by bringing into his comments people even MORE ancient than him!
I've had my eye on him for 30 years now (always disliking him).
I'm sure most of you have not.
But pay attention to the way he'll repeat a sentence exactly the way kindergarten teachers teach their students.
There is just so much annoying about him and so much to dislike about him.
