PP exceeding my expectations
Our (my) one year (not YTD) IRR is 9%. Amazing. What coronavirus?
Re: PP exceeding my expectations
Agree. Was just updating my spreadsheet - stocks basically flat on the year (a little down actually), but gold and treasuries are really outperforming.
Up ~12% YTD with a standard 4x25 portfolio. As I believe Kriegs said, "shit's bananas"

You're right. But most of us would be happy with just not losing much during a mess like this. To be ahead, that's pretty nice. Of course I happened to pick the top as the day to declare it.mathjak107 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 28, 2020 3:51 amif not now , when ? it is built for this kind of stuffI Shrugged wrote: ↑Mon Jul 27, 2020 7:12 pm Our (my) one year (not YTD) IRR is 9%. Re: PP exceeding my expectations
Generally I'm a bit suspect when the PP has high returns. It usually smooths out to around 3-4% real over a few years so that's where I expect it to head.
You there, Ephialtes. May you live forever.
