Swiss knife software?

Post by yankees60 »

Do any of you know of any software that can often files created in ancient (1980s, 1990s) software that is now obsolete, e.g., Lotus 1-2-3?

Decades ago I used to own some a piece software that allowed me to open such files but don't ever remember the name of that software.

Thanks for this. But it's a software that will not only open Lotus 1-2-3 files but also old word processing type files. I think Ami Pro was the Lotus companion word processing software? Like I tried to communicate I had one software that could open many versions of various obsolete software.

It seems that this problem is far larger than just me...

This is the type of software I am seeking. And, it seems that this is what I may have owned decades ago...

I don't have any knowledge of that kind of software, but will be watching this thread as I am interested as well.
