I ran across this new ETF today and it has an interesting asset allocation I have never quite seen before. It mixes Utility stocks with LT Treasuries and Gold to create a safe haven ETF that actually outperforms the PP over the last 12 years (albeit with higher volatility). It definitely outperformed during 2008 and this year so far. Thought I would share.

Interesting concept ... I am not a lover of betting the ranch on utilities for the equity portion ....they are far to interest rate sensitive and coupled with long term treasuries could be a mother not if but when rates trend up

i will say one thing .. this company has a poor success rate with their funds ... it looks like they tend to close fund after fund for whatever reasons selling investors out a losses
