As I said to a previous OP who posted this same thing: you should really tilt your religion towards small cap value.

The problem with market cap weighted religions is that you basically end up believing the same thing everybody else believes. You're overweight on Christianity and Islam, and underweight on Satanism and Pastafarianism.

The expected returns of these smaller and more obscure religions is higher, because they're fundamentally riskier. Like, no one in the world is seriously a Pastafarian. So, it follows that if it turns out that's the correct religious belief, you'll end up with outsized rewards in the afterlife. (Fewer people to share the rewards with.) Pastafarianism in particular has strong exposure to the value factor, because pasta is generally a cheap food.

Sarry Lwedroe wrote a great book on "factors" in religions and how to build a more efficient portfolio of beliefs. I think you should check it out.

Why put all your spiritual eggs in a single risk factor basket (religious beta), instead of diversifying amongst multiple factors? What happens if that basket is the one that happens to blow up?
