Lazy Portfolio performances to date (MadMoneyMachine)

Post by gizmo_rat »

Paul sneaked out an update of his lazy portfolio performance comparison in September, I haven't seen it mentioned here.

I found his previous comparisons a very useful resource when making a decision about which of the lazy portfolios to implement.

Perversely, I find myself looking forward to a time when the chart inverts and the stock heavy portfolios are pulling ahead. Interesting times and all that.

Thanks Paul.

I just posted a slightly longer-term chart, covering Lazy Portfolios since the end of 2009 until last Friday.

I do wish I could stop looking at these. On the other hand, by closely observing returns I was able to take advantage of some tax-loss harvesting
and also did some rewarding rebalancing recently.

The Harry Browne Permanent Portfolio is number one over both time periods.

Nice.
