Awesome... I can only take so much reading and am currently "into" 4 different books... I'd love to have something like this.  I haven't read any of his books and this is the one I'm most inclined to read.
"Men did not make the earth. It is the value of the improvements only, and not the earth itself, that is individual property. Every proprietor owes to the community a ground rent for the land which he holds."

I have had these podcasts bookmarked for a long time but hadn't listened to them.

I just started listening to the first one and it's fantastic.  I wonder if this fellow is a member here?

He seems to have a great understanding of the entire body of Harry Browne's work, including the PP.

A: “Not unless round is funny.”

Thanks so much Tex! :) Yes, I am here- that is my podcast (I should have made that clearer when I posted it).

Jake, I am very pleased that you found us.

How did you come to find us?  I assume it was a happy surprise.

For me, I think that Harry Browne is one of those figures who may be re-discovered perhaps 100 years from now.  He is one of those rare people who was "un-rutted" in his thinking, and thus hard for the average person to fully appreciate.

The subtlety of many of his ideas is amazing to me.

Have you listened to his 1967 audio program?  If you haven't it is wonderful and provides more texture to the ideas Browne laid out in "How I Found Freedom in an Unfree World."

Awesome, thanks again! I hope you enjoy them and any feedback would be very welcome and appreciated. There is one episode which might be particularly interesting as I debate investment strategies with a friend who takes a precious metals intensive approach: http://thevoluntarylife.blogspot.com/20 ... m-two.html I try and do my bit to explain the permanent portfolio in that episode.

Also Tex I very much agree with your comments about Harry Browne, he is one of the thinkers that has had a massive positive impact on my life. I have heard of his lecture series and it's one of those things I keep meaning to get around to finding... great to hear you recommend it.

I'm also very glad to have found this board. As to your question of how I came across it, I think that when I posted the Harry Browne podcast a listener responded with a link to here. It was a bit of feedback that I found very helpful!
