Awesome, thank you Xan!

Tenn, that image makes me sad that Wicked Lasers are illegal in the U.S. now.

Also, I just noticed the https:// in the address bar. I don't remember the old site using SSL. Was that another recent Xan-hancement? If so, bravo!

Thanks everyone! And yes, https is a recent improvement. The padlock sometimes gets compromised if you're on a page where somebody has hotlinked an http image. (There might be a way to fix that in many cases.) But the login page is definitely secure, which prevents modern browsers from freaking out.

The forum is now dual-stack, that is, running both on IPv4 and IPv6.

Yes, Xan, thank you. Seems all is running smoothly.

The forum has just been upgraded from phpBB 3.1 to phpBB 3.2. I don't think there should be any changes that will throw anyone for a loop, but a few things might look a little different.

Also (as mentioned in another thread) emails from the forum to Gmail should now be getting through.

Side question: is Xan pronounced shaen? All this time, I thought it was ‘Christian’.
Oh wait, it’s X-an, like Texan?

Both of those fit, but believe it or not, I hadn't thought of either! It's pronounced "Zan", as in the middle part of "Alexander".
