What is “deep cash” exactly?
In some posts people refer to deep cash. Is this part of the overall 25% portion of the PP? Or is it additional to that 25%, like a variable cash portfolio?

It's the part of the 25% cash allocation which you don't expect to need for rebalancing, withdrawal, or spending for quite a long time. That means you can put it someplace deep, that is, relatively inaccessible (because you don't need it anyway). For example, the part of your cash allocation that you might need for rebalancing, withdrawal, or spending could go in a high-yield savings account, or T-Bills, or a T-Bill fund. But the part that you won't need for a while could go into savings bonds.thisisallen wrote:In some posts people refer to deep cash. Is this part of the overall 25% portion of the PP? Thx for the real world example. I had heard of Netspend but Insight seems better.boglerdude wrote:I use ibonds and 5% insight visa savings acct (5k limit)
