Has Craig's blog been hijacked?
I just went to look at some of Craig's old posts at http://www.crawlingroad.com/ and what showed up is definitely not anything that he would be OK with. Has his blog been hijacked, or maybe the url was treated as abandoned and taken over by someone else?

Well, it's all in his signature on this forum, right? He no longer controls the domain, so I don't see the problem.

Ad, unfortunately he abandoned the domain completely, and some huckster group picked it up. It has nothing to do with Craig.

Ok thanks. I haven't been around for a while. Did he migrate his stuff to another site or is it all lost?Xan wrote:Ad, unfortunately he abandoned the domain completely, and some huckster group picked it up. It has nothing to do with Craig.

It looks like the best we can do is the Wayback Machine:

Could be worse... The forum was on the chopping block too.

I did let the domain lapse on purpose. After almost 10 years with the blog I wanted to move on and do other things and didn't want to think about it any more.
My new company is located here: https://www.sandflysecurity.com
It has nothing to do with finance/investing but I still follow the Permanent Portfolio regardless.

I just don't understand allowing the website to lapse. It could easily have been picked up by someone else on here. It makes no sense.craigr wrote:I did let the domain lapse on purpose.
