What do you think? Are we on the same road as Spain? Does the US, or Australia, or New Zealand, or Britain, or Canada, have the mojo to overcome many of the similarities that have led to Spains downward spiral?

I remember watching the original "The Trip" and thought it was entertaining in a quirky sort of way. As the description goes - "two aging actors playing fictionalized versions of themselves on a restaurant tour of Northern England".
It was on cable so I watched it for free. Not the kind of movie I would pay money to see so I'll have to wait until the Trip to Spain comes on cable to find out what the author of that article is talking about.
If his point is that replacing the declining native population of Spain with Muslim immigrants isn't such a good idea, it's hard to disagree with that.
Maybe they should do "Trip to California" for their next movie. I've never seen a movie about it but I've read an article written by somebody touring areas he used to live in and making interesting observations about how Mexican immigration is drastically changing things

Watching on cable isn't watching for free. Watching via rabbit ears (or equivalent) is free. DVR+rabbit ears is the way to go!

Rabbit ears? Didn't those go out when all broadcast signals were converted to HD? I tried an HD antenna and didn't have much luck with it or I would probably go that route. All I really want to do is watch football and I have Amazon Prime for movies. Nope, rabbit ears are more in vogue than ever, because you can now get perfect digital reception with them. Sounds like it may be worth investing in a nicer (perhaps directional?) antenna.
