ISIS will self-destruct

Post by I Shrugged »

I've been mocking both ISIS and the fear of ISIS, and saying they will defeat themselves in one way or another.  Yes, they are real bad.  But it should be obvious that they must implode.

Maybe it is beginning.  They are executing each other for failure.  I'm sure that will get the morale up!:

I wish, but I don't think so. I'll take Foreign Affairs over the Daily Mail any day. If you can get ahold of 'Isis Goes Global' in the latest issue, March/April 2016, you'll see that despite the fact that they're an apocalyptic group, ISIS are not going away by themselves. Not anytime soon.

Obama is sending 250 troops into Syria so it's all over for them.

How many American soldiers does it take to kill one ISIS dick?

They have metastasized (sp?) well outside of Syria & Iraq. They have waliyat (lit. provinces) all over the place, and while these outside provinces can cause trouble for ISIS headquarters -- e.g. draining resources -- following their own agenda, engaging in warfare with their historical enemies rather than with us infidels, etc. -- it makes them much harder to eradicate.

P.S. It was not lost on me, Reub, that you are not a fan of Obama and that you did not mean the comment seriously.  8) Still, he's sending special forces, not mere "troops."

ISIS will eventually be diminished but there will be another radial Muslim group that rises up and takes their place.  The cancer that is fundamental Islamism too wide spread for this to go away easily.
