Third Party Candidates

Post by Reub »

It seems that if Hillary and Trump become their party's picks for president there will be a lot of disenchanted voters on both sides. Could a viable third party candidate emerge? Bloomberg? Cruz? Sanders? Romney? Could any of them actually win or at least greatly influence the race?

Didn't all the GOP contenders besides Trump pledge to not go third-party?

Maybe Webb?

Yes they did, Xan. But Romney didn't. And it seems that there are many insider Republicans who are extremely disenchanted with Trump and might run a third party candidate. Bloomberg might also be licking his chops seeing 2 greatly flawed candidates.
