New Hampshire

Post by Reub »

On to New Hampshire. The last best hope for Christie, Bush, Kasich, Fiorina, Carson. Bernie has to really shine because he might be done after this one. Trump needs to prove that he's a winner. Cruz that he's not a crook. Rubio just has to smile and be everyone's golden boy again. The people are being overwhelmed there by TV advertising and mostly wish it were over already. And as for Hillary, she's probably going over her emails.

That's a nice succinct summary.  I still can't believe Fiorina hasn't dropped out yet.  The last remaining 'undercard' candidate.  Is she still holding rallies, and if so, what must that be like?  Are there more than 10 people present?  Are they giving out free HP schwag, like printer cartridges?

I think that her talents would be better utilized as a CIA assassin.

I would love to see a cage match between Fiorina and a honey badger.  That would be cool.

Seriously, though, what would Fiorina add to any ticket as a VP?  Nothing.  IMHO, Fiorina is the most cynical fraud in the whole bunch of Republican candidates.  She's an obnoxious liar who seems like a genuinely unprincipled and unpleasant person.

Watching the Democratic Debate right now from NH.  Thoughts so far:
1) I am sad that Martin O'Malley is gone, because it means that I have to hear Hillary 50% of the time instead of 33%.
2) When Hillary talks, I feel like she is always scolding and yelling.  Can't hear that for the next 4 years.
3) Moderators, F. Chuck Todd and Rachel "Diesel" Maddow are doing a good job of letting them go without too much interruption.

I too cannot stand hearing Hillary speak. She's so grating and whiny in a way that manages to seem completely inauthentic at the same time.
Human behavior is economic behavior. The particulars may vary, but competition for limited resources remains a constant.

In a field with Ted Cruz in it, that's quite an indictment.
Yes, that would be the whiniest race ever.  Cruz vs Hillary would cause my head to explode.
