LTT's Pullback

Post by buddtholomew »

Anyone contributing to LTT's as we watch the Santa Claus rally in equities?

Stop watching,  budd. That's the key.

Haven't hit a rebalance band. Although my PPish portfolio is "different" - have LTT in VUSUX (Vanguard Long Term Treasury mutual fund), whose duration is really short by PP LTT standards (~16 years.)

It's down 0.31% YTD (12/22/2015.)

No I'm not buying those, but I don't understand the significance of the stock "rally."
I mean, I'm not enjoying this stock see-saw. Are you?
The S&P is not great compared to last year. Not impressed.

Sure looks like we are returning to S&P highs while the PP gets demolished as usual.

Hey, minimizing drawdowns is important to me, so if this is what "demolished" looks like, I'm definitely in the right portfolio.

Oops, meant to type LTT's. PP barely moved today.
