Fidelity Bond Weirdness
So I have two issue with Fidelity regarding bonds. No complaint about ease of purchase or selling but they don't post values until about 1:00AM, which seems odd because the bond market closes at 4:00PM, and I am pretty sure it's not any harder to know bond values at that point than it is to know those of stocks, gold, etc. The other thing I really don't get is that they seem to take a value for the bonds from about 3:00PM instead of at the close. Anyone else have this issue? This inconvenience (incompetence?) only seems to apply to individual bonds, not to funds. So, for example, yesterday (2/27) 30-year bonds had a nice rally in the last hour of trading that pushed prices for the day up .8% or so, but Fidelity shows my bonds values up .17% for the day. Grrr. What gives?

Re: Fidelity Bond Weirdness
I've noticed the 3pm thing. Bonds never sell with the exact proceeds I think I'm getting. But, close enough.
