Because he doesn't have enough going on, Elon Musk—he of Tesla Motors, SpaceX, SolarCity, and the Hyperloop—is launching another project. Musk wants to build a second Internet in space and one day use it to connect people on Mars to the Web.

I'm on board (so to speak). That would finally give me a good alternative to ridiculously overpriced and unreliable wireless service out here in the sticks!

Visiting a friend here in NL I tested his $60 internet (+phone+tv) for speed on my Nexus phone, and got 48.34 Mbps down, 5.74 Mbps up (speedtest app). Through my TunnelBear VPN...

The great thing about Musk is he's every young geek's wet dream about what they would love to do to change the world when they got rich.  No need to dream anymore.
