The best thing about being transhuman is what the word really means: beyond human. In this way, transhumanism aims to leave behind the problems and bickering the human race has undergone for millennia, especially ethnic, racial, gender, and cultural divisions. The language of transhumanism is science — and that language and cultural framework is universal. That’s the brilliance of transhumanism. It seeks not to divide, but to improve the lives of all people. It doesn’t judge one’s race, sex, class, culture, or ethnicity. It transcends them with its scientific aims. For example, designer babies — a classic transhumanist field — are literally just years away.

Talk about a yahoo wacko!  Eugenics and the master race reinvented.  Instead of killing off the weak, the undesirable, the ones "not like us", less-than-human man will make other less-than-human men perfect - might take a bit longer than the holocaust but the end result will surely justify the means (sarcasm alert).  I thought rule one was enlightening (self-preservation at all costs) as to what the end result will be: one omnipotent transhuman.  I do wonder what the source of "value" in the universe will be that is mentioned in rule three.

Mildly interesting but wacky article.  MG, you better put on your tin hat and start consuming fully synthetic motor oil instead of all that health food and supplements so you can get a jump on us mere humans and prepare for the future.
