Another Long Bond Question

Another question for you guys...

My LTT's are almost all 11/15/43 issues. (^TYX) shows the 30-year bond went down 1.89% yesterday. Fidelity shows my bonds only went up .55%. I realize that these numbers are not supposed to match but this much of a discrepancy surprised me. Anyone have an explanation for this? Illiquidity in that particular issue for some reason? Bad math at Fidelity? Mental shortcomings on my end that I should attend to? Thanks.

I think Murphy had a question like this earlier. Instead of ^TYX, it was about how one bond surprisingly performed better than another. As for answers, well, I don't remember.

Reagan: Well he could have just bought the wrong bonds but I really don't remember.

Yup, it's the one day delay for the prices to catch up.

Moving??  New city perchance?

ha! What belongings? All that's left is in storage and it feels great to be free of it. I wish I had the willpower to get rid of it when it comes back but I know it's going to end up in the basement with the cave crickets.
