Strange Results at peaktotrough.com

Post by stuper1 »

I'm wondering whether peaktotrough.com is working properly in regard to Cash returns.  For example if you ask for returns for a 4x25 PP from 1/1/14 to 7/24/14 without reinvestment of dividends and interest, the results show that Tbills increased in value from $2,500 to $2,575.  Isn't that a 3% return?  I don't think Tbills have increased 3% year to date.

If you ask for the same returns with reinvestment of dividends and interest, the results show that Tbills increased in value from $2,500 to $2,502, which is a 0.08% return.  That sounds much more reasonable.

Maybe there's a glitch in the reinvestment option.

Of course!  Why didn't I think of that?  Sometimes the answer is right in front of me, but I just can't see it.  Thanks!
