UK Permanent Portfolio with Vanguard

Hi I am looking into a PP using the Vanguard platform which is cheap with smaller amount and if you intend to drip-feed.
Proposed set-up:
25% UK FTSE All-Share Index
25% UK Inflation-Linked Government Bonds
25% UK Long Duration Government Bonds
25% Global Short Duration Bonds Hedged to GBP
thoughts?

There once was gold, but he probably forgot to rebalance regularly and now it's ..... gone.
