Re: Italy vote?

I have relatives in Italy (Tuscany) and just visited them this summer.

Just like Trump, the country is split on wanting to stay in the EU vs. leave. My family there was split -- older folks had enough, younger folks want to stay in. This would seem to be a potential step toward leaving.

I have little to add, other than everything you see happening over there in France, UK, Italy, elsewhere (except Austria for now). People are sick of the EU telling them what to do and controlling their lives with the currency especially.

But, as it goes to show with the Trump election, everything you think is supposed to happen, the opposite does. Markets over there have come back, and ours are ready to continue positive.

And of course, of course, of course, gold is down...as I think I mentioned a couple years ago, I am starting to think that even a nuclear war would only pop gold for a day or two. Yeah, I am still married to gold!
