Does anyone know where you can go to watch the debate live on-line?

All of the major broadcast networks should provide it at their websites.

Kaine is coming across as a sniveling little creep. Has he made a point yet that doesn't involve exaggeration or flat-out deception?
Pence is looking very vice-presidential and is demonstrating an extraordinary degree of self-restraint. I'd have slapped Kaine by now for the constant interruptions.

Pence clearly got pwned by the relentless hyperbole and talking points from Kaine. The question is does any of this matter?
I thought Pence was rather stereotypical Republican (i.e. slow and in his head religious theocracy thug type that has trouble putting thoughts to words), but it didn't occur to me that he might have been practing self-restraint. Again, does any of this matter? The post-debate analysis seems to suggest VP debates are just masturbation for the rank-and-file lemmings. None of the undecided voters in Ohio were swayed nor thought Pence won the debate.
And Kane was like an especially enhanced jerk version of "brown noser" Paul Ryan.
I think Sunday will tell the tale on whether Trump can win or not. It's all riding on that. Short of a truly stupendous Wikkileaks surprise.

I have to say I really liked both of them. Maybe it's just in comparison to Trump and Clinton! I kept asking, "why can't these guys be the candidates?" It was so much more⦠adult than the three-ring circus that the rest of the campaign has devolved into.
Kaine won in my book, though I can completely understand how his style would turn some off. In addition to offering substantive and cogent answers to most questions (especially the faith one, I thought), he really hammered home the point that Pence was doing a lousy job of agreeing with or defending his running mate. It works because it was exposing a truth: Pence really is an awkward match for Trump. Pence originally supported Cruz and is a gentle, soft-spoken statesman with genuine religious conviction. In the debate he came off as very warm, compassionate, approachable, and level-headed, if a bit slow-moving. Basically the exact opposite of Trump!
Both of them successfully projected the impression that they could take over if their running mate won and became incapacitated.

I too liked Kaine because he was expressive (if not a little condescending) and emotional, but when you think about it deeper, it was obvious he was well-prepared ahead of time and a fast-talking shyster following a script in the way only a well polished career politican could do. He didn't have to think especially hard when listening to Pence because he already knew what he was going to say ahead of time, so it was relatively effortless to stick to the script and interject things against what Pence said to bolster the script. None of these abilities translate into a dynamic "point in time" and effective decision making President.
Pence was obviously a thinker. He didn't maintain his gaze on the moderator nearly 24/7 unlike Kaine because he wasn't rote speeching. I really like these split level views rather than the old CrossFire style singular viewpoint.
The problem with Pence is without a script, you can't hammer all those damaging talking points home as well as Kaine did. There's a lot you could throw at Slick Hilly but it takes intense preparation to get everything in and pull it off smoothly, something that Trump doesn't seem to believe in.
And still, we have NO IDEA what the capability and abilities of either VP would be as President because they didn't talk about it beyond their ability to bicker at each other about their own boss. We can only infer. Kaine might be a loud-mouth bragger like Trump, whereas Pence might be a slow moving thinker like Slick Hilly.

Kaine was a total asshat and lost on rudeness and temperament.

Shades of Trump, huh? It is ironical.

The word escaped me, at the time, for how to describe Pence's demeanor during the debate. He was a GENTLEMAN.
