another linux thread: new machine

Hey guys,  any suggestions for a Linux distro on a new machine?
I have had good success with LXLE OS an an old laptop. I might put it on my new HP Stream that came w/ Windows 10 (dual-boot).
I might put LXLE on this too, but, since LXLE was made to revive old machines, I thought I might hog a bit more of the resources.

The Stream has 2GB RAM and a 32GB storage drive (SSD).

I was thinking about netrunner, since this is a netbook.

I would recommend against running a KDE desktop environment with those specs. If you want something more full-featured than LXLE, why not give something like Linux Mint Mate Edition a try?

Thanks, EC. I ended up not installing netrunner after reading the reviews.

I was going to stick with LXLE, but after I got the machine to accept the ISO on the thumb drive, I couldn't connect to the Internet. A quick google search revealed that Ubuntu can't find the HP Stream's wi-fi thingy. (If I got that wrong, close enough). Too bad. It all worked so well on the first three computers I put it on.

I'm ok with Mint, having used it in the past, but I guess that's based on Ubuntu as well. For now, I'll have to deal with leaving Windows 10 on the Stream.
