Dear Craig,
how shall we diversify the PP internationally?
Can you please explain.
Thank you.

Craig, I hope that you continue to pop in here occasionally. In your last blog you recommend more international diversification for the PP. Could you be a little more specific as that diverges somewhat from Harry Browne's tenets.

I think he meant physical diversification rather than buying international stocks (i.e. storing some gold offshore). That was my understanding anyway.

yep , i agree that is what is meant . you can't just change things in the pp like add international stocks . lightning will come down from the heavens if you veer .

So is the PP dead?

it is not dead . it still serves a purpose .
consider it to be the department store of investing that tries to be all things to all people . rather than a specialty store that hitches itself to a single theme and runs with it.
although today the department stores are having a rough time of it as the world around them has changed , but they still serve a purpose .

He also said that he might not post the yearly results anymore.

i think everyone needs their own results anyway . it does not do you much good when you have different buy in points , add money to it at different times , rebalance at different time .

I still think that this forum would be served well by having a new section that discusses many of the varying lazy portfolios for the purpose of comparison, and to attract new participants.

I agree. It could replace the moribund "Permanent Portfolio Funds" section.
