Yes, but the after hours market in Asia has very low volume. What will be more interesting is to see what happens when Europe opens, around 4 AM Eastern time (IIRC).

US S&P futures down -1.5% , ouch!  If this sticks overnight it's the most excitement /volatility I've seen in a long time, takes me back to August 2011 fiscal cliff days...

  I just bought some more gold on Thursday.

Will be interesting if this can be papered over yet again by central banks or if this is the start of something serious.  I have been happy with the gold I hold, and this certainly is one reason.
