Japan PP

Does anyone have any data on how the Japanese PP has performed historically? There was a website a few years ago (I think it was Marc De Mesel (sp?)) that had this data but his website is gone. Going forward, it may be a god idea to study the Japanese as to how our PP may perform in the future.

There used to be an analysis here:

but apparently that blog has been removed.

The wayback machine (internet archive) has part of it, but not the tables, at

For the one that still has the tables (since they were saved as GIFs or JPGs instead of as Google spreadsheets which were blocked via robots.txt) try this:

Say, what happened to Marc, anyway? Did he lose his shirt in the Bitcoin crash after putting a huge amount of his money in it?

I think he is about 90% in on cryptocurrencies on the expectation that BTC will correct back to $1000, so still holding onto his shirt I guess.

I am puzzled by the seeming lack of interest on this forum about how the PP does/is doing in different environments. The Japanese results should be of interest to all of us because they offer a different kind of stress test. Pfanni's posts about the dismal European bond options seemed to only be of interest to other Europeans. What gives?

i am very thrilled to read about the PP in diferent envoroments and other country's, (the india version of a PP is a great thread) i think its just tough for many of us to make intelligent and insightful contributions to those threads, without being from there, or having first hand knowledge of the investment options they are using and how that influences the 4x25 behavior in different conditions..
