Help with Malware Removal

I seem to have some malware on my computer. I'm getting constant pop up windows in Chrome telling me to call a 800 number for help getting rid of malware that's on my computer, and every web page I look at, including this one, has a bunch of live links that don't belong there. I'm sure if I click on those links that more bad things will happen.
I tried running Malwarebytes but it didn't find anything. Does anyone know of any other malware removal programs that work well?
Thanks!

sounds similar to a problem i had recently, it turned out to not be malware (in the traditional sense, Malwarebytes couldn't find it) it turned out it was a fire fox add-on that had been installed, without my knowledge, that acted like malware.... you might want to check your add-on tool and delete any add-on that you don't recognize or didn't install..

Avast free version will also look for strange browser extensions as well as virus/malware (I think - it's been a while since I used Windows); not sure if installing it after an infection works.
I can't resist showing the ultimate solution:

I recently had to clean someone's malware invested computer and had to go beyond malware-bytes. It seems like it used to be so much better.
These links should get you right to the download so you don't have to navigate through ad invested websites:
