Yes it is correct, the Spread is much higher than Xetra Gold for Example, but this is once no TER.
TER for xetra is 0,3% every Year.
For a longtime investment, it could be better to invest in the Euwax Zertikat, or take both. Xetra for reballancing.
For a german investor, Euwax Gold takes no fee for delivering Gold to your bank.

By the Way Gold for an Euro Investor in 2014 = 10,28 % ytd
