Gyroscopic Investing

first paragraph:

"The city of Houston has issued subpoenas demanding a group of pastors turn over any sermons dealing with homosexuality, gender identity or Annise Parker, the city’s first openly lesbian mayor. And those ministers who fail to comply could be held in contempt of court"

I would really like to speak to people who moved to the US from Russia to get their take on recent politics in the US and things like this (use your imagination).

My grandmother was born a few years after the Civil War and I have often wondered how dumbfounded she must have been by the rapidly changing things she saw in her lifetime - from the horseless carriage  to the man on the moon.

I put this in the same category for me. Gay marriage was one thing, but is it now going to be a thought-crime to even think there is anything wrong with being "gay"?
