Yeah, East St. Louis is somewhat of a post-apocalyptic nightmare wasteland. Then again, you could say the same thing about Gary, Indiana which isn't quiiiiite in Illinois.

Illinois is just a nice fertile, mostly, piece of earth.  It's the inhabitants that vote the Chicago bozo types into office that I wonder about.

They are going to reelect Pat Quinn as governor.  Even though he has knowingly driven them into the iceberg.  Maybe that is giving him too much credit.
