VP based on "Timing" the 4 asset classes. REDUX....or best asset going forward

So, looking back to the lows of 2009, it you put everything into VTI and didn't look at any markets since then, you'd be in a great position now.

Is there an asset class likely to repeat that performance from 2014 to 2020?

What are the odds that GLD has similar performance (from 2014 to 2019) to VTI since 2009?

Hey Murphy,

No takers so far so I'll give this a shot. If I were to rate the four assets of the PP for their potential to do well over the next few years, I would pick gold, then stocks, then cash. LTTs I expect to lose money. That being said, I hold them all in equal weight because my track record at timing is bad.
